MANAGEMENT AND STAFFING STRUCTURE

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Outside Chance is overseen by a proactive Board of Trustees.

Our Chair, Tony Piper, 41, is a Freelance IT Consultant and has been instrumental in taking forward our development plans.  

Our Vice Chair, Earl Whiskey, 46, a former Senior Pupil Learning Mentor, is Initiatives Manager at a large West London secondary school. 

Our Treasurer, Derron Leid, 42, is Borough Director of Islington's Victim Support and a former National Chair of its Anti-Racism Forum.

Dr Yousef Zawahreh, 36, is a Biomaterials Engineer with an extensive background in education and healthcare.  He is also a Senior Trustee of The Dove and Dolphin Project, an education and medical relief charity with particular emphasis on disadvantaged children in Gaza.

Wayne Jones, 35, is Interim Area Development Coordinator, Quality Assurance and Training for a South London Council's Integrated Youth Support Service.  Wayne has extensive experience of working with challenging young people and brings current trends in young people's thinking to our board.  

STAFFING STRUCTURE

Ian Ross, 62, is the charity's Founder, Chief Executive, Company Secretary and Presenter.  Ian came from a sales and marketing background before entering the voluntary sector in 1996 when he worked for a penal-support agency before founding Outside Chance in 1998.  Ian delivers our workshops in the various venues where we present as well as taking on the traditional CEO's role of daily management and fundraiser.  Outside Chance is currently active in HM YOI Huntercombe as well as a growing number of primary and secondary schools across all 33 Greater London boroughs.

Victor Ramalho, 33, is the charity's Administration, Finance and Support Manager.  Victor provides daily administrative support, monitors our financial position and provides sessional support in our various projects.  Victor has also completed a three-year course in accountancy and financial management, supported by The Big Lottery Fund.
