MANAGEMENT AND STAFFING STRUCTURE

OUTSIDE CHANCE'S BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Outside Chance is overseen by a proactive Board of 5 Trustees.

ur Chair, Derron Leid, was a former Borough Director of Islington's Victim Support and formerly National Chair of its Anti-Racism Forum. 
  
Our Vice Chair, Graham Spencer, was a former West London Youth Project Manager and is currently a Youth Officer at a West London Youth Offending Service.

ur Treasurer, Dr Yousef Zawahreh, is a Biomaterials Engineer, an IT consultant and a visiting lecturer at Queen Mary College in East London with an extensive background in education and healthcare and a special interest in youth-related issues. 
 
Garth Buckle MBE is a former, now retired, school teacher in the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow and is currently Honorary President of Hounslow Education Business Partnership, now Spark! London. 

 
Richard Jory, QC, is a freelance criminal justice barrister based in London. Richard has undertaken a number of very high profile cases and brings a wealth of legal knowledge and experience to our board.

 

OUTSIDE CHANCE'S STAFFING STRUCTURE

Ian Ross, FRSA, is the charity's Founder, Chief Executive, Company Secretary and Presenter.  Ian came from a sales and marketing background before entering the voluntary sector in 1994 when he worked for a penal-support agency before founding Outside Chance in 1998.  Ian delivers our workshops in the various venues where we present as well as taking on the traditional CEO's role of daily management and fundraiser.  

Victor Ramalho is the charity's Administration, Finance and Support Manager.  Victor provides daily administrative support, monitors our financial position and provides sessional support in our various projects.  Victor also completed a three-year course in accountancy and financial management, provided by The Big Lottery Fund.  

Ian Ross and Victor Ramalho hold current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certifications. 

Outside Chance is currently active in a growing number of primary and secondary schools in 7 West London boroughs - Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Slough and Spelthorne.
