What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury bed mattress under three brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils offer the Saatva Classic a good quantity of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box.

Keep in mind: Saatva just recently upgraded the Zenhaven, altering the type of latex utilized in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now features Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; find out more about the differences below. We prepare to evaluate the new version quickly and will upgrade this guide with our impressions.
The all-foam Zenhaven consists mainly of latex, which is intrinsically durable. The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Firm side feels a bit firmer), which might show practical if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your requirements alter over time. This is not a traditionally cushy mattress, but it provides a flexible cushion, great edge support, and a subtle springiness. Given its natural durability, the Zenhaven should work well for individuals who weigh more than 200 pounds.

We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brands. We do understand that the business utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and just natural cotton (rather of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such additionals as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column support”; we’re less amazed with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and long lasting foams and coils.
